Danish Safety Technology Authority

Our focus is on the safety technological aspects relevant to fires, accidents and explosions. It is our mission to set the standard in safety technology in Denmark, Europe, and Internationally.

Profile

The Danish Safety Technology Authority was founded in 2004, and will focus on the safety technological aspects relevant to fires, accidents and explosions. It is our mission to set the standard in safety technology in Denmark, Europe and internationally.

Tasks

All of the Danish Safety Technology Authority's tasks are centred around technical safety. We cover different areas.

Authorisation and approval

The legislation covering the electricity, plumbing, gas and sewage installation areas regulates which types of installation work require authorisation – and which can be carried out without authorisation.

Fireworks

We have gathered application forms, guidelines and other important documents concerning fireworks.

Working on switchboards

Working on switchboards can be involved with risk. We have made a video where you will learn about the procedures to avoid risk and take care of your own safety.

The Technical Safety Council

Our interested parties will gain influence on the Danish Safety Technology Authority's work through an advisory committee, i.e. the Technical Safety Council.

Links

We have gathered relevant links to other authorities and organisations who are working with technical safety.
