List of registered Tobacco surrogates

Manufacturers and importers of tobacco surrogates marketed in Denmark are required to notify the Danish Business Authority (formerly the Danish Safety Technology Authority) of such products.

Tobacco surrogates that have not been notified to the Danish Business Authority may not be marketed in Denmark.

The Danish Business Authority publishes a register containing information on the notified products. The register is updated on an ongoing basis.

Once a product has been notified, it may be marketed in Denmark; however, this does not necessarily mean that the product complies with all legal requirements.

The Danish Business Authority emphasises that manufacturers and importers are at all times responsible for ensuring that their products comply with the requirements of the Danish Tobacco Products Act and related executive orders.
