Our interested parties will gain influence on the Danish SafetyTechnology Authority's work through an advisory committee, i.e. theTechnical Safety Council. It is the purpose of the committee todraw on the competence in the corporate sector and to ensureinfluence and support with respect to the authority's work.

Professor Mette Præst Knudsen is chairman of theTechnical Safety Council which consists of eleven members. The minister of economic and business affairs appoints the members for a four year term, and eight of the members are appointed on the recommendation of private organisations that work for technical safety.
